I'm looking at my sidebar with my Journal History listed.. Last journal was December 12 2008 and then before that June and before that December again!

To be honest I have hit a real creativity wall. I am not sure whether it is the lack of love for my equipment (because I haven't really wanted to pick up my Nikon for a long time) or just not being very happy with what I do. I'm feeling extremely uninspired and I'm hoping that I find what I'm looking for soon.

It's really upsetting me. In life, I've noticed that people usually (usually) have one thing they are really awesome at. Unfortunately I got hit with the "average" stick and I am moderately good at everything, but not awesome at something. Whatever I do, I know that someone else can do it, and there's nothing I can do that can be "unmatched" so to speak.

I'm also aware this is really negative talk and there are obviously things I can do really well but I think I've just hit the wall and I'm kind of waiting to bounce back.

Things I've done this year:
-Started Twitter 365 Project and then unceremoniously dropped out after day 100ish. This disappoints me in a way
-Broke up with my boyfriend of 18 months :/
-Moved house twice.
-Travelled. Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast. Perth soon.
-Bought a MacBook.

Things to do this year:
-Continue travelling
-Get the camera equipment I want. Nikon D90. Macro lens. Speedlite flash.
-Find my inspiration again
-Start photography classes in October
